"Of course I trust you, and I respect you more than anyone else I've ever met. And if I do get angry it's only because I have never opened up to somebody so much in my whole life and it hurts me when I feel like that trust isn't returned. And you know you put up with me for the same reason I put up with you, it's because I'm completely in love with you."

As Lois continues to be upset at Clark for breaking her heart, happy couples are being snatched off the street by a mad man named Larry Smiley who runs a camp for couples to help them learn to love each other. After neighbors of Lois' are kidnapped Lois and Clark go undercover as a married couple and end up realizing their own relationship problems.

Larry thinks he's Noah, he's made an arc and a contraption that will make the skies open up for forty days and forty nights in effect flooding the earth and all those he does not feel worthy to be part of the new world, Lois & Clark being two of the unworthy but Perry and Alice being part of his "new world"

"It's not the M word that makes it forever for me Lois, my love is forever because it just...is."
