Lois decides to stay in Metropolis for Christmas, realizing it's better for her own mental health to avoid her parents, but little does she realize that they both planned to come visit her...not knowing the other would be there as well. Divorced parents spat, as Clarks parents come to visit for the holidays as well creating the ultimate perfect and dysfunctional parents Christmas. Don't forget Daddy Lane's cyborg Baby Gunderson. 

Meanwhile Mindy Church is sick of Superman. She wants to control all the crime in the city, which of course he is constantly stopping. She enlists the help of  The Handyman, who was recently released from prison, and uses a virus from the spaceship baby Superman came to earth in to make him sick. Lois finds the love of her live violently ill and feels helpless considering no doctors can save him and she can't admit to anyone her true feelings for the man of steel. She enlists her doctor father to help, while holding on to the strength of their love to pull him through.
