As Lois and Clark prepare for their honeymoon, more importantly their honeymoon night, they are interrupted by H,G. Wells who informs them that a curse was cast upon them centuries ago and once they "consummate" their marriage Lois will die a horrible death. Being told they are true soul mates, Lois and Clark have to go back in time, following their souls and battle the man who has cast the curse, who ends up being Tempus.
