Hi Lucy, it's Lois...I just wanted to let you know that you are NOT invited to my Christmas dinner tomorrow night. Well, because all the food I'm going to buy is MINE and I'm not sharing!"

It's just another Christmas season in Metropolis... Superman's helping orphans, Lois is raging about the red and the green, and Jimmy's looking for that special Christmas love.  But it all goes insane when a disgruntled toy maker begins marketing a line of toy rats that shoot a goo that makes people act like bratty children.  Soon everyone in the Daily Planet newsroom is affected by the rat spray.  After it wears off, Lois and Clark try to find out who's responsible for the rats.  When the toy maker, Mr. Schott, realizes his enterprise is about to come to an end, he decides to enact even more revenge on Metropolis by dumping the rat goo into the local reservoir.  Meanwhile, childlike behavior causes Perry to tick off Alice and Jimmy to anger a female co-worker.  In a touching final scene, Clark is the only one to attend a Christmas party Lois has thrown in an attempt to reconnect with the Christmas spirit.  Figuring no one is coming, she is thrilled to find Clark at her door and they spend Christmas Eve together.
