As Clark is lost in space and time, Lois is forced to picture her life without him, but at the same time wanting to inform the world that the new president John Doe is not the great man everyone has been brainwashed into thinking he is.

To help aid the world, H.G. Wells has brought the Clark from the parallel universe which just ends up hurting and confusing Lois more. They work as a team in exposing Tempus, all the while Lois thinks of a way to get the husband she aches for back where he belongs.
